Ah, the Joy of Spring Conditions...
Cool Nights, Warm, Sunny Days....
Today is going to be a classic Tremblant spring day!
93 open trails out of 94, now that's incredible!
The Mountain Crews have been putting in a ton of
effort to restore and perserve our surfaces and today
we will have the benefit of all that hard work.
We start out at -4C this morning and we should see
the temps rise all the way up to +6 or so by the afternoon
peak, but "Magic Hour" when the Mountain begins to soften
up will occur gradually and in sort of a rotational manner,
between 10 A.M. and 1:30 0r so.
As the sun begins to project thermal energy on runs like
Geant and Superieur, it will warm up those surfaces first,
then it will work it's way around to The Soleil sector, then
finally, toward Taschereau, Kandahar and McCulloch as
we get into the post lunch hour.
Where the surfaces become soft, you will find excellent
carving conditions, so the boarding and skiing will be fantastic!
You will need to "research" the Mountain by exploring these
areas to find these conditions, but when you do, you will have
nothing but smiles today!
While things are "Firm" this morning from the overnight cold,
the whole Mountain will be "fast", so use the appropriate care
and caution in traffic and around trail intersections.
