94(*) Open Trails on all 4 Sectors at #Tremblant .

Highlights: More Snow, Way More Easy Temp’s!

Nice!

What You Will Find At Tremblant Today.

Optimization: (noun), The Action of making the best or most
effective use of a resource or situation.

Regardless of Sector or Trail, what is happening right now
is the optimization of all the resources and situations over
the entire footprint of the Mountain.

Whether it’s Mountain Crews, or Mother Nature, all the
factors of maturing seasonal conditions are synergistically
augmenting one another and the result is the daily elevation
of quality in scope and performance.

A big component, arguably the biggest component, is all
the new snowfall that has accumulated over the last 3 days,
and with 5cm’s again last night, the universal enhancement
of the base is once again going to be approaching some
“Best Of Season So Far” qualities.

Weather Notes:

If you’re planing a Tremblant visit over the final Holiday
weekend... WOW, super easy and super snowy are the
operative concepts you have to work with!

All these temp’s should be Sub-Zero C at cooler Mountain
elevations, so we think it should be nothing less than
a fantastic easy-winter way to close off the Holiday Season!

Conditions Notes:

In the Groomed Terrain:

Approximately 27cm’s of natural snowfall in 3 days, with
the bulk of that over the first 24hrs, is going to be realizing
near-ideal compaction rates in the Groomed terrain today.

This is the result of multiple grooming night shifts that are
compressing any of the initial sponge-like softness into the
density that now becomes all-day mogul-resistant and
wall-to-wall, super consistent carving traction.

Yesterdays cold should be todays speed and the rising temps
should add a nice measure of silky smoothness to the feel
underfoot.

In the Sous Bois, Glade, Hors Piste and Un-Groomed:

The initial deep powder lines are now getting morph’d
into Sous Bois, Glade mogul zones and there is no doubt
the addition of 27cm’s or quite near a foot of new snow
is a very definite game-changer for all the Sous Bois.

The level of “Forgiveness” and way fewer hazards may
be directly attached to the way the wind caused drifted
accumulations that in many cases, far exceed the statistical
snowfall totals, so look for those patterns to find the best
Hors Piste quality.

:) Bring Back The Memories... Research Future Visits...
If you would like to look up dates you visited Tremblant, or you
want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.

GoTo: Archive, Search Reports by Date: Index: http://tinyurl.com/yktelmu

When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.

There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.

( If you "Bookmark" the link above, it will always take you to the
First index page with the latest posts. That gives you an immediate,
current to 25 day past, review scroll of Winter Alpine Conditions by
consecutive date.)
