Given:
10% More Snow @ 2.24.19 than the 21 Year Seasonal TOTAL Average!

So, No Matter What The Weather Is doing From Moment To Moment...

Tremblant Is Ready For You.

The Tremblant family of staff has a very deep personal
and historic attachment to both the Mountain and Guests.
Since 1939, the development, maintenance, and care for
this magnificent natural domain has been lovingly guided
by the efforts and enthusiasm of a dedicated community
of locals, many of whom have multi-generational links back
to the founding season. The 2.23.19 Apres Ski smiles you
see above at the Summit are symbolic of the Esprit de corps
within the entire organization.

In The Groomed, Performance Terrain Across All Skill Level Ratings...

Tremblant Is Ready For You.

The Front-Side Groomed terrain hit a new highpoint for the
season yesterday as shown above in this McCulloch Bas, Lower, scene.
In our opinion, if it was not the best day of the season, so-far,
it was certainly within the top 2 or 3. It was nothing less than
a “Go Anywhere, Do Anything” kind of excellent carving, cruising,
lapping, exploring, practice, training, coaching, instructional, day
for all skill levels, and across the entire array of groomed trails.
Totally versatile and just beautiful. This is the basis for not only
today, but for the foreseeable future. There’s just way too much
snow on the ground to be anything else.

The advantages all the groomed have are particularly beneficial
to Beginners utilizing Green terrain and below is a sample from
P’tit Bonheur that once again, has the most remarkable “Liquid-Like”,
almost a “Fluid” feeling, under skis. We took a bunch of pictures there,
but none of them can capture the real experience here. We think
P’tit Bonheur is one of the finest Green trails in Eastern North America
and for anyone with a serious desire to raise their Ski-Skills,
this should be their “Go To” trail. This Trail can make any Skier better.

In The Sou Bois, Glades, Hors Piste, and Un-Groomed...

Tremblant Is Ready For You.

If we need to tell you anything about the pic. above, then you’re
not a serious Hors Piste connoisseur. The poles could have easily
been submerged, but we leave them visible. Stepping off the skis,
we immediately stepped into waist deep snow. Man ‘o man... there’s
a TON of snow in many of the Sous Bois trails/zones!

Weather Notes:

There will be unsettled weather that may have unpredictable
consequences on Mountain Operations today.

From the standpoint of “Silver Linings”, at least the “Rainy”
that was in earlier versions of this Weather Warning is now
just “Snow”, so that’s a set in the right direction for winter.
(Please Use “Previous Topic” button, upper Right Tool Bar,
to scroll back to yesterday for earlier Weather Warning Version.)

Net weather effects of the very active system that are going
to generate wind gusts of over 120 KMPH in adjacent western
regions are not predictable by the time they hit Tremblant, so
the main clue is in the basic West to East path of the moving
weather. This system could produce conditions that may effect
Lift Operations during Open Hours.

Conditions Notes:

With a “Mixed” precipitation element still in todays
hourly forecast, it is possible we could see a reduction
in Open Trails, as well as surface changes Mother Nature
decides on without giving us humans any notice at all.

If you’re sensing active changes, default to less steepness
and reduce speed immediately until stability has returned.

during Open Hours. The timestamp is for the system automatic refresh

:) Bring Back The Memories... Research Future Visits...
If you would like to look up dates you visited Tremblant, or you
want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.

GoTo: Archive, Search Reports by Date: Index: http://tinyurl.com/yktelmu

When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.

There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.

( If you "Bookmark" the link above, it will always take you to the
First index page with the latest posts. That gives you an immediate,
current to 25 day past, review scroll of Winter Alpine Conditions by
consecutive date.)
