"Firm"
After yesterdays weather, we now have -22C. The result is "Firm" Conditions.
The Mountain crews were working at full speed last evening to get things into the best shape they could be for today.
The best part of all this is that it is going to be a very sunny day, the views will be great and much of the Mountain will be as smooth as a pool table, but it will be very firm.
There will be some ice, and you will need to watch out for speed today because there will be almost no resistance in our surfaces that have gone from +5C and wet, back to todays wintery temps.
We have a total of 58 runs open this morning and there are open trails on all sides of the Mountain, but the Edge Chair lift is closed.

- Efforts have been going on all night to whip things into shape and they are still working on it now as we see 2 groomers working in tandem to restore the main South side slope, Johannsen.

- The Powder Maker attachments used to restore surfaces are much like "chain mail", a woven blanket of metal chain that is drawn over the top of the surface to produce a surface of fine powder like crystals that we can ski or board on.
