Countdown To 2016/17 Opening Day. Favourable Weather Forecast!
Chances of Tremblant Mountain Crews meeting their goals
of Summit-To-Base Available Terrain for Opening Day, Nov. 24, 2016 are
getting better by the hour!
Update Weather Observations:
A review of previously posted items for the 2016/17 season
for Snowmaking and Weather are getting a boost from
Mother Nature. Temps that were looking good to begin with
are now forecast to be a bit cooler, and with more natural
snowfall actual and predicted. We can live with 100% of that!

Additional Forecast Source “Weather Underground”.
Our attention has been brought to this very detailed alternate
Weather forecast source. There are numerous reasons to like
the presentation format and we have annotated a screenshot
with some of those highlights.
As indicated above, our favourite component of this forecast is the
Low Wind Speed for the entire forecast period beyond the Active
Storm System passing through the region at the time of this posting.
This Low Wind Speed is a HUGE advantage for BOTH Natural and
Blown Snowmaking because it will facilitate Direct Deposit on Trail
Surfaces without undo wind erosion that could move it off into the bush.
Opening Day(s) Forecast: Excellent!
