This shot is about 400 meters from the top of Nansen, just
before the steepest part of the run called "Nansen Pitch",
which is just off to the left here. This section of Nansen
is the only blue portion of the whole run as a result of the steeper
incline, however the run is so wide at this point that even beginners
with a bit of experience and confidence can handle it.

On the right, you can see the turn off/continuation of #4,
Nansen Haute, just about the most gentle green run on
the planet.

We love this Nansen View, taken looking up at the midpoint, at the
Mi-Chemin intersection. On the left. you can see Nansen "S" coming
back in, and looking pretty much up the middle, the bottom portion
of Nansen Pitch, the steepest part of the trail which is also used for
Race Training.
