It Is Snowing Like “Crazy” at Tremblant Right Now...
Estimated Rate Of Deposit At Approximately 2 cm’s per-hour.
The level of snowfall intensity is variable. It has been snowing for
about 2 hours, and it is forecast to snow for a total of about 13 hours.
The wind is now from the East, and is forecast to swing through to
the South, then further to the South-West by around 10:00 A.M.,
to finally end up Westerly by about 1:00 P.M., where it stays for
the rest of the day. What that means is that with 180 degrees of
rotation in wind direction, there could be beneficial drifting on
all sides of Tremblant.

noticeable and where safe to pull over for a Trail-Side break,
as pictured below, you could feel heat in the rays, almost
immediately.

P’tit Bonheur was an example of totally reliable, wall-to-wall,
top-to-bottom, quite near flawless.

those totally unique, and completely Liquid-Like conditions under foot,
and in our opinion, may arguably have the best potential for today.

that Mother Nature keeps the wind in check. Together
with the Sun and the relatively mild temp’s, the whole
package promises to be very, very, user friendly.
On the Temp Scale... The last few nights have blown the overnight
low forecasts pretty much away. At the time of this early writing,
when forecast for -20 C, it is -26 C and it “Feels” like it’s headed
below that. Oh well, we don’t ski in the middle of the night, so
here’s hoping the balance of the daytime temps make it up to
forecast levels!

Real, genuine, honest, glorious Winter!
You need to be prepared for the early morning temp’s,
either that, or start a bit later and focus on the mid-day
warmth and use the extended Open Hours to full advantage,
right up to 4:00 P.M.
The overnight cool may cause some initial friction in the surfaces,
however once the temps break through to the -“teens”C, you can
pretty much expect the speed to improve, especially where the
trail surfaces are directly facing the solar energy.
Bottom Line... Follow the Sun for Best Results!
