0(*)Open Trails under COVID-19 Global Proactive Human Health Public Gathering
Closure Protocols. Basically, there are no leagally(#) Open Ski Areas at this time.

Reporting Caveat:

Our intention is to add primarily to the weather stat’s so future
trip planning researchers looking at time slots normally available
will have archival data sampling to assist with composite impressions
for weeks that would usually be prime March/Spring skiing Holiday
or visit candidates.

The Mountain Is Closed, But...

If, If, If... it was open, it would be an absolute CLASSIC, Beautiful,
Tremblant early Spring Skiing day!

And Tremblant Fans Would Be...

Jumping Into Action!!!

It’s only a dream...

Unfortunately, the COVID-19 Coronavirus that is causing Global
Pandemic health concerns and near-total logistical/transit shutdowns,
is preventing any public gatherings, now regulated to between allowable
group sizes of between 10 to 50 people(#), from occurring. This includes
all sporting events and venues such as Ski Resorts, Stadium Professional
Sports events, tournaments, contests, games, competitions, et al, etc., etc.

Some Ski areas(**) have said that there may be possible “Last Run”
chances for time periods of or around a month from now, but
for the most part, Skiers and Snowboarders seem to be accepting
that the season is over. We are just too close to the end to have
much hope that the CDC and other Global equivalent National
Health Agencies from country to country would be lifting group
size restrictions or travel restrictions.

(**) Vail Resorts Co. has stated that their operations are closed
between March 15 to March 22, and that they will “Re-Evaluate”
the situation by March 20, 2020. Frankly, with the escalation of
the number of cases growing almost exponentially, daily, any review
within such a short time frame seems unlikely to draw any positive
conclusions.

At this current moment, it seems wise to err on the side of caution,
there is no vaccine, yet, and the mortality rate in the highest risk
demographic groups is unacceptable, so there is a very strong case
for over-reacting in eliminating social gathering when there is so much
potential transmission within community-spread contact behaviour.

Conditions Notes:

It would be a totally normal early spring skiing day.
With an overnight sub-zero C, moving to a sunny afternoon
with above zero C, there would be the usual firm Eastern
“Hard-pack” initially, and at about noon hour, there would be
enough thermal energy in the solar force to soften things up.
This would be especially true on the lower Sud/South.

The well shaded Nord/North, might remain firm all day.

NOTICE OF SUSPENDED OPERATIONS

:) Bring Back The Memories... Research Future Visits...
If you would like to look up dates you visited Tremblant, or you
want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.

GoTo: Archive, Search Reports by Date: Index: http://tinyurl.com/yktelmu

When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.

There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.

( If you "Bookmark" the link above, it will always take you to the
First index page with the latest posts. That gives you an immediate,
current to 25 day past, review scroll of Winter Alpine Conditions by
consecutive date.)
