Info.Ski team members can instantly identified by their
distinctively designed yellow/red jackets with the big “?”
on the back. They are stationed at the Summit, between
the Gondola and Lowell Thomas lifts, but they can also
be found circulating throughout the open terrain.

It’s +2 C at the Sud/South Base, and -4C/25F at the Summit.
Ultimately, the sub-zero C is good, but in an immediate sense...
The entire region has been subjected to significant amounts
of freezing rain, and...
"Evidently the weather has had a significant effect on operations..."
We fully expect this open trail list to change during the day,
possibly several times. To begin with, there are a lot of
“Progressive” status trails, some of which may not be able
to be opened in the ongoing monitoring of safety. The
possibility exists that there are some closed trails that
may be able to be opened. This is a highly “Dynamic”
situation and evaluations may be done on a trail-by-trail
basis throughout the course of the day.
The Ski Patrol may be working some overtime today...
Grooming is typically prioritized for the Green/Easy and
entry level Blue/Intermediate skill rated terrain in the
immediate post adverse weather period for the sake
of Beginners/Intermediates who need the most support.
Experts... be patient, Mountain Op’s will be doing everything
possible to get as much on line A.S.A.P.

Weather Notes:
One advantage for trail base stability is that as
this is being written, the Summit temp is at -4C,
so with the Sud/South Base level at +2C, that
means there is a very healthy and advantageous
-6C spread in the elevation differential. That
may or may not play into todays conditions, but
for overall quality sub-zero is always better for
durability. Additionally in this case, because the
trail network has been sub-zero there should
be a less dramatic change as the temps drop
today as elevations have had less thermal exposure.
Supplementary Regional Weather Factors:
Conditions Notes:
Whatever conditions could be the result of “Dynamic” weather,
they should be...
Highly Evolutionary...
Very Temporary....
For the attending group with the most sensitivity
to conitions, i.e., Beginners and aspiring Intermediates,
the most predictable reliability will be Versant Sud/South
Nansen and Versant Nord/North P’tit Bonheur/Beauchemin
Bas/Lower.
Green/Beginner terrain is always a first priority
after adverse weather.
Experts... Please be patient. Mountain Op’s at
Tremblant are some of the very top professionals
in the Ski Resort industry and no one restores
terrain as quickly as they do here.
Summary:
Highly evolutionary...
Very temporary....
