What we think you are seeing here is the final maturation
of the massive snowfall period that started about 2 weeks
ago, but for days and days did not generate much in the
way of new open terrain. There were Resort based “Events”,
and the logistics of those event managements, plus the need
for labour-hours to process all the new snow that may have
exceeded the resources to get it all done out in the far ranges.
So, we think the big game of “Catch-Up” is just now becoming
visible as priorities are allowed to shift away from the events,
and back to trail basics.

Weather Notes:

Super-easy rise to warm, and most importantly, no rain.

What we actually like is the onset of overcast with the
temp rise. As nice as a hot sunny day might seem,
the last thing the trails need is focused solar energy,
so a nice umbrella should help keep the softness shallow.

Conditions Notes:

Crazy soft mega carve fun! At these temps, the slight
heat induction should add just a touch of density within
the grooming-compressed top layers and we think the
performance is going to be outstanding as a result.

The open Sous Bois/Hors Piste/Glades/Un-Groomed will
most probably be highly individualistic on an a la carte,
trail-by-trail, case-by-case basis. It’s not January 15, so
there will be significant hazard potential that may evolve
with traffic patterns. Do not assume from last run. The
Ski Patrol may have hand-posted warnings and every
single one of those should be taken with serious respect.

Please Note: Your T360 author is not yet able to
be on site due to a post-surgical, medical LOA.
We expect to have that cleared by mid-December.
Thanks for your patience. In the mean-time, we
intend to maintain the daily, chronologically filed,
weather and trail status data plus whatever
observational commentary possible for archival
date/seasonal/historical period sampling.

:) Bring Back The Memories... Research Future Visits...
If you would like to look up dates you visited Tremblant, or you
want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.

When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.

There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.

( If you "Bookmark" the link above, it will always take you to the
First index page with the latest posts. That gives you an immediate,
current to 25 day past, review scroll of Winter Alpine Conditions by
consecutive date.
