Weather Notes:

Attention Regional Tremblant Fans...

The next 2 weeks look virtually flawless for easy early
winter ski conditions. Plan accordingly!

Why We’re At Where We’re At...

Obviously when you consider the weather “Big Picture” as a
Continentally/Regionally dominant weather factor, things could
have been far, far worse than they were here at Tremblant.

Record rainfall and localized flooding have caused all kinds
of havoc at ground levels throughout the region so we think
the relatively short duration of adverse weather over local
Mountain elevations probably puts the trail network on the
low end of regionally effected geography.

Conditions Notes:

On The Mend.

With a return to sub-zero C’s after any kind of rainy,
the recovery process is well under way and in this case,
aided by a shallow new snowfall of unspecified depth
that should enhance the surface quality.

The important thing to remember about that is that
what might have taken weeks to recover in the good
old days, now happens to a very large extent, overnight
at Tremblant.

There will undoubtedly be potential icy bits, however
they should be recognizable in patterns as you circulate,
so please use extreme caution in all initial explorations,
particularly around contour crests, the top bits of steeper
slopes and where traffic/trail convergences happen.

There will be a lot of mixed skill level sharing on reduced
square area of open terrain so please also allow extra-wide
passing margins where Beginners and Intermediates may
be making sudden and/or unpredictable moves.

Please Note: Your T360 author is not yet able to
be on site due to a post-surgical, medical LOA.
We expect to have that cleared by mid-December.
12.16.23-UPDATE: Due to LOA logistical support
issues, plus Xmas scheduling, return delayed but
working on A.S.A.P.

Thanks for your patience. In the mean-time, we
intend to maintain the daily, chronologically filed,
weather and trail status data plus whatever
observational commentary possible for archival
date/seasonal/historical period sampling.

:) Bring Back The Memories... Research Future Visits...
If you would like to look up dates you visited Tremblant, or you
want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.

When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.

There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.

( If you "Bookmark" the link above, it will always take you to the
First index page with the latest posts. That gives you an immediate,
current to 25 day past, review scroll of Winter Alpine Conditions by
consecutive date.
