Oh well... there is nothing we can do on an immediate
basis about the daily gyrations of the weather so we just
have to accept the fact that the rapid transition to very
warm spring weather is going to quickly reduce the
amount of safely available snow coverage. Like it or not,
there are only 2 more days after today so if you want to
do ANY more turns, they will likely be done on Nord/North
slopes only.

Weather Notes:

From a purely mechanical, laws of physics standpoint,
the most undesirable portion of the hourly forecast
detail is the combination of warm ambient air temps
with rain and very high velocity winds, all from the
South/East compass quadrant which means blowing
up and over largely the Duncan/Superieur Sector.

At its maximum effect, this is the physical equivalent of a
hot water fire hose on snow. However... there is some
possibility that the concentrations may be variable and
less over elevations, thereby leaving us with just enough
reserves to last out for a few good turns over Saturday
and Sunday. Stay tuned...

Conditions Notes:

Technically, there will be some select zones of
good carving performance on the steeper portions
where there is both good drainage and gravity
assist. Otherwise, really sticky and slow due
to very high saturation levels.

Ski bases prepared with warm range wax material,
and/or hydrophobic base coatings are essential
for any degree of glide capability.

High quality poncho’s and the only the best
sailing foul weather gear are good enough
to stay dry, maybe.

:) Bring Back The Memories... Research Future Visits...
If you would like to look up dates you visited Tremblant, or you
want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.

When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.

There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.

( If you “Bookmark" the link above, it will always take you to the
First index page with the latest posts. That gives you an immediate,
current to 25 day past, review scroll of Winter Alpine Conditions by
consecutive date.
