A Pair Of Aces ....

The "Ace" of "Hearts ....

The "Ace" of "Spades"...

That's what we have for the Weekend, a nice poker
hand of Skiing and Boarding "Aces".

The Ace of Hearts ... We Love Spring Skiing and Boarding!
Warming up to just above freezing under sunny skies for both days!

The "Ace of Spades" ... Great Spring terrain in "Spades”,
meaning lots of it with an open trail count back up to 73!

Working as quickly as possible, the Mountain Crews have
restored the best possible surfaces to as much of the
Mountain as they can for our Snow Sports fun!

We start out at -13C this A. M., but the thermal energy of
the sun will build quickly as the morning progresses and
we will see a high temp of somewhere around +4C.

LOOK OUT FOR "MAGIC HOUR" ...

"MAGIC HOUR" ...

Sponsored by "Mother Nature" for your Skiing and Boarding Enjoyment!

The time of day when the warmth of the day turns things from
"Firm" to "Soft", but before "Soft" becomes "Too Soft", is the
Magic Hour. This is when the whole Mountain is a ton of fun
and you can go just about anywhere that is open with complete
control while you rip off turn after turn of carving perfection.

The best way to take advantage of "Magic Hour" is to keep your
lunch break flexible. As the morning progresses, you can feel
conditions changing, and as the Mountain starts to soften up,
get ready to Rock 'n Roll while there is optimum grip and things
are not too soft yet.

If you are committed to lunch when that transition takes place,
then you may miss it, so be sensitive to that and either have an
early lunch or a late one, but be sure to give "Magic Hour" a try.

DON'T FORGET YOUR SUNSCREEN!... you may not feel
the full effect of the suns energy because you are blasting around in cool air,
but for sure, at the end of the day, you will be exposed to quite a bit of
BOTH direct and reflected solar rays... You know what to do.
