12/15/14 #Tremblant Conditions

T360 Apres Mid-Night, Apres Ski...
It is our Great Privilege to have Field Reporting today from Sacha Leclair who was
able capture some outstanding images Monday Morning early...
Technically Speaking, they are called Parhelia/Parhelion
Pronounced Par-Helia, loosely a derivative of “Halo”.
This excerpt Courtesy of Wiki:
Above and Below are two Images of Very Fine Photography we are testing for
File Size and Resolution that we’re also using as today’s Apres Ski.
We will have additional pic's and the balance of Sacha’s
comments, for tomorrow morning...
As for Conditions.... As Sacha Summarizes:
"The best I've experienced this season."
We fully expect that “Best Of” reference to carry forward to Tuesday as the
Mountain has remained consistently Sub-Zero over recent days and with the
incremental improvement of overnight Grooming, Surface Refinement occurs
on an escalating basis.

34(*) Open Trails on South and North Sides at #Tremblant.
The Value Of Early Season Training:
McCulloch.Race.Training.Traction.d.jpg The Season is still very early for “Average” Skiers/Boarders who statistically
make it out somewhere between 5 and 7 days per year. We would like to
point out, again... that with one of Tremblant’s excellent Discount Pass Bundles,
T-66 or Sublime, that any Regional Tremblant Fan can have, with thoughtful
planning, double, triple, quadruple, etc., etc., those average days(**).
That concept takes us right back to “Today”... a very fine Weekday of comparatively
light Mountain Traffic, Surfaces Optimized by the cumulative efforts of thousands
of hours of Snowmaking and Grooming, and Easy, Easy Temperatures, all supported
by a Lift System that can get you very close to 9,000 vertical Feet Per Hour in
Training/Lapping mode.
The Personal Health Benefits of Vigorous Outdoor Sports Activity are well documented.
Any Serious, Informed/Educated Fitness People will be able to expound on those
benefits for hours.
The “Dots we want to Connect” in this train of thought are that where possible,
organizing days like today to be at Tremblant contribute significantly to higher
level of fitness for the entire upcoming season as well as to an overall Healthy
Lifestyle.

Today is what we like to call a “Private Club Day”, maybe even more-so, with
all the Hustle and Bustle of the Christmas/New Year Holiday Season rapidly
approaching. At just 10 days before Christmas itself, the Malls, Stores,
Outlet Centres, and most other forms of Retail Distribution, will be almost
Frantic.
During all that Buzz, the Excellent Slopes at Tremblant await those who are
Clever enough, Lucky enough, to attend for these Sweet, Uncrowded Days
that can be amongst the very best of Personal Fitness/Exercise Benefit.
Speaking as we have about Pre-Christmas Planning, here’s a still applicable
Weather Network Graphic we ran about 6 hours ago in yesterday’s Apres Ski:
Any decision you can make to get out for one or more of these days will be a
good one. Grab ‘em when you can...

Grooming, Snowmaking and Lift Status for December 15, 2014,

(**)We would never want to leave out those Single Day Lift Ticket Purchasers
who for thousands of legitimate reasons, find "a la Carte” the best way.
On that Basis, days like today still represent an Outstanding Value when there
are Zero Line-ups and All Day, Wall-To-Wall Surface Quality.

Bring Back The Memories...
Research Future Visits...
If you would like to look up dates you visited Tremblant, or you
want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.
GoTo: Archive, Search Reports by Date: Index: http://tinyurl.com/yktelmu
When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.
There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.
(
If you "Bookmark" the link above, it will always take you to the
First index page with the latest posts. That gives you an immediate,
current to 25 day past, review scroll of Winter Alpine Conditions by
consecutive date.)
