Conditions 4/1/09

PLEASE NOTE: Scroll down for today's Telus SPIN detail.

April 1st... Happy "April Fools Day" ...

We hope no one plays any serious tricks on you this morning...

The arrival of April always brings mixed emotions. The closing
of our Winter season, the promise of Spring and Summer...

Bottom line on this point... Take advantage of the remaining
portion of our Ski/Board season while you can.

Oh sure, there will always be those who complain about Spring
conditions being "Too Soft", "Too Slow", "Too Wet" ... "Blah, Blah, Blah..."

These are all the "Glass is half empty" people.

We prefer the "Glass is half full" point of view...

EVERY DAY AT TREMBLANT IS A GREAT DAY! ...
No Matter What!

Today is No exception!

Officially, we have 56 open trails this morning, but in practical terms,
when you get out there today, you will find that there are going to be
a handful of those trails that will have the best Spring conditions, so
as usual for this time of year, be prepared to explore the Mountain
carefully to find the best lines.

Wow! What a great morning! The groomed runs were slightly slushy, but because of the cold night before they held up pretty well all morning. I particularly enjoyed Beauvalon Bas. Nice uniform piste with a bit of give in the surface.

As expected, by the afternoon, things had started to slush up a bit. But it started snowing at the top around 2.30pm!!! Could be a great day tomorrow.
