4/11/19 #Tremblant Conditions

Post by T360 »

T360 Prime-Time Apres Ski Edit, Under Construct @ 9:27 P.M.

Here’s the “Big Picture” what you get at Tremblant...

Very difficult to describe such late season abundance of
natural snowpack. As a matter or record, it’s only been
like this once in the last two decades... or more, or maybe
ever, as a Ski Resort.

Here’s The Detail What You Get At Tremblant...

The performance in these cool spring surfaces is so forgiving
that the trail surfaces in virtually all categories and across
all skill levels, can support any style of either relaxed cruising,
or aggressive carving or mogul bashing, without any fear of
losing smoothness, coverage, traction or speed. One of our
regular local friends puts it very well as “Like Skiing Butter”,
soft, not mushy, fast where it needs to be, easy control everywhere,
not too firm, not too soft, just about Spring Ideal, and did we say “Fast”?
You bet!

But... This Is A Very Limited Time, Mother Nature Offer, Because...

The Signs Of Spring Are All Around Us.

We are not worried about the tomorrow forecast yet because
with the current display of precipitation icons, indications are
for firstly... snow, then light rain, which we say could bypass
Mt.T., especially if the cloud ceiling is low, and finally, there
are gaps in the hourly that make it possible the whole day
might only be overcast. That’s fine with us. Cloud at +6 C,
is just like a big umbrella to keep those nasty hot little rays
off of our precious snow.

Please Note(s):

A) This graph above shows end-of-season Totals for all years
except this one, so with 11 more days to go, and more snow possible,
the total for this year could be increased.

B) The Stat’s History is missing the year 99. Not sure why, but
we do not have that in our archives either, so be advised.

C) The running seasonal average was at 418cm’s, this season will
cause the average to move up.

D) We call/define 20% or more above average a “Super Season”,
at, or above 600cm’s we call/define as a “Super-Season-Superieur”,
so in the modern era of recorded weather stat’s, there are only 2,
including this record season, and that makes “now”, very special.

Weather Notes:

“Live For Today”... tomorrow could be quite a bit different...

Conditions Notes:

For Any April 11th in History... It’s Fantastic!

It would also be fantastic for any winter day in any season, in any month!

What Is Open Is Great! For sure, it’s very late season, so we don’t have
the total Mountain Open during weekdays, but the traffic is very light
and most of the time, you may find yourself almost alone.

Within the Groomed Open trails there is superb excellence.
Where the wind has shaped extra natural snow deposits,
they have enhanced the pre-existing base quality that was
already extraordinary due to the record-setting seasonal
snowfall.

:) Bring Back The Memories... Research Future Visits...
If you would like to look up dates you visited Tremblant, or you
want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.

GoTo: Archive, Search Reports by Date: Index: http://tinyurl.com/yktelmu

When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.

There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.

( If you "Bookmark" the link above, it will always take you to the
First index page with the latest posts. That gives you an immediate,
current to 25 day past, review scroll of Winter Alpine Conditions by
consecutive date.)
