88(*) Open Trails on Sud/South, Nord/North, Soleil and Edge Sectors at #Tremblant .

------------------------------------------------

Development and Refinement are the two themes du Jour.

Snowmaking continues to be a central effort as Mountain
Crews fill in the few remaining portions of the Flying Mile
Sector, Zig Zag and Vertige, at the same time Grooming
over the pre-existing trail network gets another Night-Shift
of refining in very stable sub-zero C’s.

Here is our One.Pic Crowd/Conditions Forecast Sample for today...

Weather Notes:

By historic/statistical comparison standards, these are easy
winter temps and other than a bit of a dip just before the
weekend, it looks like it’s going to stay that way for at least
a couple of weeks.

A couple of days of potential snowfall coming up should add
a very nice cushion over the base, so the “Value Weeks”
continue to deliver a very fine sustained winter forecast.

For today, the Sou-Easterly wind direction should have the breezes
rising up the Mountain over the Duncan to Jasey-Jay sector, and
crossing the Summit towards Erik Guay/Beauvallon, so much of
Versant Sud, the South Side should be in the lee of those breezes.
As a consequence of being wind sheltered, we think the entire Sud/South
and Soleil sectors should actually render a feeling of solar warmth to
the humans on the trails without any such effects on the trail surfaces
themselves.

Conditions Notes:

Predominantly very fine Groomed conditions across all Skill Level
rated Open Terrain with the incrementally improved surfaces from
another Night-Shift added in.

The Sous Bois, Hors Piste, Glades, Mogul Zones and all other
Un-Groomed may have a' la Carte variable conditions that
reflect their geographical positions in relation to wind induced
drifting or exposure over the most recent snowfall events of
the past 3 days. While these sectors have overall very good
conditions for this time of the season, care and cautious speed
with absolute braking capability is essential on all initial explorations.

Please Note that with lower Nansen closed today due to snowmaking
there, as well as on the adjacent Flying Mile Sector, Beginners will need
extra allowances for navigational clearance around the TGV Quad Base
zone, so all skill levels should proceed with very slow speeds through this area.

:) Bring Back The Memories... Research Future Visits...
If you would like to look up dates you visited Tremblant, or you
want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.

GoTo: Archive, Search Reports by Date: Index: http://tinyurl.com/yktelmu

When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.

There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.

( If you "Bookmark" the link above, it will always take you to the
First index page with the latest posts. That gives you an immediate,
current to 25 day past, review scroll of Winter Alpine Conditions by
