DUE TO COVID-19 HUMAN HEALTH ISSUES:

Please Note:
Local, Regional, National, Global COVID-19 Closure Protocols.

April 8, Facsimile Sampling Data/Stat's

See all attached below.

Reporting Caveat:
Our intention is to add primarily to the weather stat’s as well as historic
conditions averages so future trip planning researchers looking at time
slots normally open/available will have archival 2020 data sampling continuity
to assist with composite impressions for weeks that would usually be prime
Spring skiing Holiday or visit candidates.

The Mountain Is Closed For The Season.

In a sincere attempt to remain cheerful and positive when the
Ski Season has been COVID-19 Globally Closed, through the process of
“Visualization”, we want to present the following:

As a Facsimile of your April 8, here are some random

Conditions Notes:

If, if, if... it was Open...

As we have noted in the past couple of days, we’d be experiencing
a typical Spring daily Open Hours profile where the overnight Sub-Zero’s
generate a re-freeze and it’s usually between 10:00 A.M and 11:00 A.M.
before the rising daytime temps start to soften the freshly groomed
trail surfaces.

As a consequence, there are totally normal first-thing icy bits, so what
we recommend is a later start, after a relaxing brunch, then ski right
through the “Sweet Zone” hours where there is fabulous performance
on softening slopes. Due to variable solar energy levels, the rate of
softening, and the compass-oriented location of sun-facing slopes,
the softening always occurs in a rotational manner that allows you to
follow optimal conditions as they evolve over the course of the day.

Very light mid-week April traffic usually ensures all-day consistency
in quality, there are just very few Skiers per acre of Open Terrain, so
it’s not uncommon at Tremblant to still be able to find fresh corduroy
lines available at Last Run!

:) Bring Back The Memories... Research Future Visits...
If you would like to look up dates you visited Tremblant, or you
want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.

When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.

There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.

( If you "Bookmark" the link above, it will always take you to the
First index page with the latest posts. That gives you an immediate,
current to 25 day past, review scroll of Winter Alpine Conditions by
consecutive date.)
