however we do not have that specific time. This doc is recorded for
the historic accuracy of the days record.

A Genuine, Authentic, Holiday Season “Winter” Day!!!

Weather Notes:

The crisp early morning temps should rise quite nicely into a more
manageable range and with sunshine, there will be Lee-Side wind-sheltered
spots that you will actually be able to feel solar energy, especially if you
are wearing a dark jacket that can absorb heat.

For regional Tremblant Fans attending over the next two weeks, other than the
one dip shown for Tuesday, the temp’s are going to be super easy, very mild
winter for this time period.

Keep in mind that temp’s indicated below are for Sud/South Resort base levels
and typically there is a -4C cooler Mountain elevation differential, so we expect
very fine conditions up on the Alpine Trail network to prevail throughout.

Conditions Notes:

As fine as we expect it to be, due to the warm whacky of 48 hours ago,
where there was frontal wind facing force and less retained snowfall,
the groomed loose top layers will be thinner and subject to traffic
patterns that could cause variable slick or icy bits. You need to pay
attention to evolving conditions and do not assume that trails you
ski this morning will be exactly the same this afternoon.

Tuned gear is essential for optimized performance and safety in
a Post-Thermal sequence of days, although forgiveness increases
daily as grooming refinements render out more and more of the
icy bits when temps remain sub-zero C around the clock for
multiple following days in a row.

Mountain Crews always prioritize Green’s and Blue’s, so these
trail rating categories usually show the most rapid and consistent
increase in quality and scope. Initial explorations should still be
conducted with speed caution until you have confirmed safe
descents for your legitimate skill level.

One of the very most important signs of normalized conditions
is the return to previous numbers of open trails, so going from
33 at last run yesterday to 41 this morning is a very positive trend.

:) Bring Back The Memories... Research Future Visits...
If you would like to look up dates you visited Tremblant, or you
want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.

When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.

There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.

( If you "Bookmark" the link above, it will always take you to the
First index page with the latest posts. That gives you an immediate,
current to 25 day past, review scroll of Winter Alpine Conditions by
consecutive date.)
