Weather Notes:
Sweetheart Valentines Day Weather For Sure!!!
Easy, but still totally winter temps with light breezes,
starts out snowing, and forecast to become a sunny sky!
Conditions Notes:
We would expect groomed conditions to certainly benefit from
the new snow being integrated and to otherwise largely be an
extension of yesterday due to what we would call “Thermal
Momentum”, where the residual coolness from the preceding
days with the seasons lowest string of overnight lows persists
within the pre-existing layers of the groomed base.
We have often written in this record that 10 cm’s is very close
to being ideal for compaction with a single grooming pass,
so, when combined with the coolness in the base, the level of
finishing should be very high from First Tracks onward.
With the new snow and slight rise in the temps, there should
be a very perceptible increase in the grip levels. The internal
humidity of the new, top surface layers should be noticeably
felt as more edge-hold when Beginners and Intermediates are
attempting athletic control moves, or when Experts are
reaching for maximum carving energy.
In the Sous Bois, Glades, Hors Piste and Un-Groomed,
new snowfall means a welcome refresh and while the
official snowfall total is 11cm’s, we can tell you for a
fact, there will be wind generated drift-in deposits that
could be substantially higher in the lee-side of some
Mountain contours.

Research Future Visits...
If you would like to look up dates you visited Tremblant, or you
want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.
When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.
There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.
(
