Lets Call This One “Before”:
(fresh actual pic. from yesterday afternoon.)

(------- Apres Ski Insert Edit --------
We had hoped to get he “After” shot today,
however “Technical Issues” prevented our
photo-bug from attending today, so it should

Sorry about that...

Though By Square Area, They Be Small,

By Symbolic Significance They Be Huge...

Trails # 64, Marie-Claude Asselin,
And Trail # 65, Banzai,
Are Shown As Groomed!!!

The importance of attaining this level of Open,
Groomed Terrain Development Can Not Be Overstated.

They Are The "Canaries In The Coal Mine", They Are The “Cherry On Top”,
They Are The Groomed Trail Inventory Sign Of The Fullness Of The Mature
Winter Seasons Conditions At Tremblant. Period.

These Two Trails Are Unsupported By Snowmaking And The Only Time
They Get Groomed Is When There Is Sufficient Natural Snowfall Accumulation.

For The First Time This Season... That Is Today.

What This Means Is The Relevant Overall Excellence
Of Every Groomed Trail At Tremblant That Is Achieved With
This Seasonal Total Of Natural Snowfall Accumulation.

From a statistical point, we are well on our way to bringing this season up
from being slightly below the 20 Year “Average” for where we should be at
for this date(with todays 292cm’s, so almost 300cm's), which leaves us from
now until April 20 to rack up the remainder of 130/140 cm's that would take
us to that 20 Year “Average" at roughly 430 cm’s total end-of-season snowfall.

We would therefore have to say there’s a very good chance of having
another 130/140 cm’s of natural snowfall in the remaining 8 weeks
of the Official Season that would get us at least to average. With
any luck, and strong finish, maybe more???

The key concept in any of these above weather speculations though is “potential”.
So, along with that, we also have to acknowledge that Mother Nature may ultimately
see things in a completely different way that could be the complete opposite of our
optimistic hopes.

Weather Notes:

There are some dip’s ’n dives in the 14 day, but due to the
latter Feb temp averages, they’re all within really mild standards
of “Winter”, so very easy to deal with. Lot’s of good snow
potential too!

:) Bring Back The Memories... Research Future Visits...
If you would like to look up dates you visited Tremblant, or you
want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.

When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.

There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.

( If you "Bookmark" the link above, it will always take you to the
First index page with the latest posts. That gives you an immediate,
current to 25 day past, review scroll of Winter Alpine Conditions by
consecutive date.)
