Despite recent weather glitches, Tremblant is making
very important New Season news!
The value of opening these all natural trails
can not be overstated in any seasons initial
phases because they are directly related to
sufficient natural snowfall alone. Major great
news!
There are some cautions however as they are
au natural and un-groomed, so there may be
hazards and thin bits that could be exposed
with traffic volume. It is not unusual to see these
trails temporarily closed after a bit of first use due
to those wear factors and while we wait for more
snow, so if you are a legitimate Expert who accepts
the inherent risks in raw unprocessed conditions,
grab them while you can!

Conditions Notes:
For the average Tremblant recreational skier, the
new au natural openings on Versant Nord/North
are not necessarily at the same level of interest
or excitement as they will be for dedicated Expert
Sous Bois/Hors Piste/Un-Groomed trail fans, but
never-the-less, what it does mean for all Tremblant
fans is a benchmark of early season natural snowfall
accumulation that has benefits for everyone where
all that new snow has been integrated into the
groomed trail network base. In other words, these
openings are symbolic of a general rise in quality
and scope that only comes with more and deeper
natural coverage, and that’s a very good thing.
This is today.

Also...
Very good to see Versant Nord/North Side Fuddle-Duddle with
snowmaking icons, together with Sissy Schuss, as that usually
means that it is actually Fuddle Bas/Lower and Sissy Haut/Upper,
as one combined descent path when combined with La Griffe.
This local’s favourite sector off the Versant Nord/North Side
Expo Quad peak is always a highly appreciated addition to
every new seasons development.

If you would like to look up dates you visited Tremblant, or you
want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.
When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.
There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.
(
