Weather Notes:

If you look at the Wednesday projections for lower
temps and snowfall, you can see that corresponds
to the lower-right corner graphic in the supplementary
weather forecast data. Is it possible there could be
one more winter-like day as this season winds up?
Given the overnight sub-zero C and low base level
high, we would say yes at typically -4C cooler
Mountain elevations.

If this forecast profile holds, there is a clear, specific
indication here for a very last winter blast on April 19,
2023. Take note discretionary regional Tremblant fans...
it’s a long time 'til next November.

Conditions Notes:

A common “April Showers” spring weather profile where the
operative word is “showers” indicating periodic or passing
bands of active precipitation that are not continuous. Typically,
the cloud ceiling is low and just as typically, the Summit is
cloud foggy but does not see nearly or often any of the rainy
bits that will be primarily traversing ground/base levels.
We think it may be easy to observe the migration of valley
cloud from the Summit, which may be an asset in selecting
descent options that are opposite where you see the tops
of rain cloud.

For those reasons we think folks out for todays skiing will
be able to stay relatively dry by being sensitive to the wind
direction and circulating within sectors that are dry either
between the passing bands of shower activity or by remaining
at upper Mountain elevations that may be above the precipitation
occurring at ground/base levels. Those winds today are indicated
at South to Sou-West, so you can expect to see approaching
weather coming towards the Mountain from between the
Soleil Quad peak and the Duncan Quad peak, or as you are
descending on Versant Sud/South side trails, moving from
left to right.

There may be multiple changes with the Official Open
trail list today, so we recommend frequent consults with
Summit level Info. Ski Crews that have up-to-the-minute
Mountain Intel.

If you would like to look up dates you visited Tremblant, or you
want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.

When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.

There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.

( If you "Bookmark" the link above, it will always take you to the
First index page with the latest posts. That gives you an immediate,
current to 25 day past, review scroll of Winter Alpine Conditions by
