Weather Notes:
Thank goodness for overcast... The last thing the trail network
needs with this hourly temp forecast is solar energy, so we are
actually grateful for the cloudy umbrella that is definitely going
to help keep trail surfaces stable for as long as possible today.

Conditions Notes:
In The Groomed:
Spring-like, soft and very high degrees of control
within respective skill levels, with extraordinary grip
and lateral edge hold during “First Tracks” phases.
As the attendance builds, the available terrain may be
subject to traffic generated wear patterns that evolve
during the course of open hours. There may be a
tendency for mogul formations on steeper pitches,
or where there are deeper top layers of softness,
and/or in zones of trail convergence. Contour crests
and the area immediately below those crests may
be prone to develop some icy bits later on if there
is sufficient traffic to move off loose top layers.
In the Sous Bois/Hors Piste/Glades and Un-Groomed:
Unfortunately, these are the categories that took
the brunt of the effects from the last warm/wet
cycle, so until Mother Nature decides to bless
us with a big bunch of natural snowfall, it may
be a while until there is much in the way of
re-opening. The Ski Patrol usually has hand
posted signage within these areas and these
guides must be respected for safety.

be on site due to a post-surgical, medical LOA.
We expect to have that cleared by mid-December.
12.16.23-UPDATE: Due to LOA logistical support
issues, plus Holiday season scheduling, return
