1/3/24 #Tremblant Conditions

Post by T360 »

.

48(*) Open Trails.

Weather Notes:

This is a classic example of where Tremblant benefits from
a more Northerly Latitude illustrating the concept that it
can be considerably warmer than the historic averages,
yet remain below Zero C at Mountain Elevations, and even
generate snowfall.

Conditions Notes:

Very easy winter with a steadily increasing natural snowfall
component that should enhance the blended groomed trail
base with a simultaneously improving rate of forgiveness
between the Green/Blue/Black levels. As a consequence,
Beginners and Intermediates should find learning advancements
easier to make as steeper slope angle challenge is attempted.

Please Note: On a “Weather Permitting” basis, snowmaking
continues on and we would like to draw your attention in
particular to the expansion/development of terrain within
the Soleil Sector on trail # 41, Toboggan, as well as the
ongoing work on Versant Nord/North trail #82, Expo.

Please Note: Your T360 author is not yet able to
be on site due to a post-surgical, medical LOA.
We expect to have that cleared by mid-December.
12.16.23-UPDATE: Due to LOA logistical support
issues, plus Holiday season scheduling, return
delayed but working on A.S.A.P.

Thanks for your patience. In the mean-time, we
intend to maintain the daily, chronologically filed,
weather and trail status data plus whatever
observational commentary possible for archival
date/seasonal/historical period sampling.

:) Bring Back The Memories... Research Future Visits...
If you would like to look up dates you visited Tremblant, or you
want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.

When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.

There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.

( If you “Bookmark" the link above, it will always take you to the
First index page with the latest posts. That gives you an immediate,
current to 25 day past, review scroll of Winter Alpine Conditions by
consecutive date.
