Weather Notes:

This is obviously a complex weather forecasting scenario,
especially at ground levels so almost anything is possible,
however...

Very fortunately, with this hourly temperature profile,
the odd’s of snowfall over inherently cooler Mountain
elevations(by common -4C), are substantially enhanced.
This is also a very definite orographic potential event
where a vigorous wind may drive warm moist air up
the ramp shape of the Mountain into even cooler winds
aloft way above the Mountain where the cooler atmospheric
conditions can make far greater snowfall than anywhere
over base, ground levels. We could be wrong(a), because
we’ve seen recent anomalies in the elevation temps, even
yesterday, so maybe that won’t work for us today?

We could be wrong(b) in any number of unpredictable
wild card outcomes, but typically with low single digit
temp values like these, roughly 80% of the time there is
significant snowfall up on the Mountain. It may be wet
and heavy, but that would/could actually be useful as a
foundational base reset for the consequent grooming
work to follow.

---------------- Supplementary Weather Forecast Data: ----------------

At this early stage, well before the onset of this storm system,
the initial snowfall indications for Tremblant look very good
with a high probability of more, if not all snow and less or
maybe even no rain over Mountain elevations.

Where there is open Un-groomed, things can currently be a
bit on the raw side. We’re hoping the snowfall potential in
this approaching storm system may be able to take care of that.
