Yikes !!! April 1st Is In The 14 Day Long Range Forecast Folks !!!

Tempus fugit.

Weather Notes:

With this hourly temp profile that has the Sud/South Resort
base remaining at low single digit to a high of +3C, we would
fully expect that precip. up on the inherently cooler trail
elevations could be all snow for the entire time.

Conditions Notes:

In The Groomed:

We expect an incremental increase in the scope of uniform
depth consistency in the loose top layers as the result of
a third night of grooming in a comparatively stable cool
temp cycle without any extreme daytime highs.

Add in the good chances of more natural snowfall and
this should have the net effect of a substantially higher
level of forgiveness, especially between the Green and
Blue challenge levels. What that means is an easier learning
transition for aspiring skill builders who are working up
in steepness difficulty.

All the easy in todays conditions are going to have the
added benefit of low levels of weekday traffic that don’t
have the Spring Break attendance numbers of previous
weeks.

Icy bits are still possible where traffic or frontal wind
force can work to expose the base, so we want to
encourage everyone to bring tuned gear to the Mountain
for the best safe performance potential.

In The Sous Bois/Hors Piste/Glades And Un-Groomed:

Improving in direct proportion to new snowfall
drift-in characteristics where the wind shaped
lee-side benefit can generate accumulations
above the basic stat’s for this active precipitation
system.

There is still a very firm substrate layer so where
traffic displaces new snow there may be solid base
exposures at or around crests or where topography
gets subjected to direct wind force.

Be aware and look for patterns that can help anticipate
hazard and definitely use very conservative low speeds
for all initial explorations. Forgiveness may be on the
medium to low scales until or unless there is a greater
overall accumulation. Pay attention to all Ski Patrol
hand posted signage. Genuine Experts only please.

:) Bring Back The Memories... Research Future Visits...
If you would like to look up dates you visited Tremblant, or you
want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.

When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.

There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.

( If you “Bookmark" the link above, it will always take you to the
First index page with the latest posts. That gives you an immediate,
current to 25 day past, review scroll of Winter Alpine Conditions by
