It may be a bit firm to begin with, but with
sun and a warm breeze, it won’t take long
of soften up!
Weather Notes:
It would not surprise us for one minute if the
daytime high temp got considerably warmer
than forecast. It’s just one of those days where
you go out in the morning and even though the
air feels a bit chilly, the intensity of the suns
energy is instantly felt and as such, not hard
to imagine a much warmer outcome. We could
be wrong.

Conditions Notes:
For sure, very firm to begin with but evolving
rapidly after the lifts start due to the rise to
above Zero C, combined with warm breezes
that could be way more than just breezes.
Take a look at the peak wind gust numbers in
the hourly forecast above and you’ll see that
it could end up like a hot air blower on “Max”
that will accelerate thaw quickly where it’s
velocity is most frontally exposed on Versant
Sud/South sectors, especially over the Nansen
and Beauvallon quadrant.

We were wrong about the potential for warmer
than forecast and we are happy to be so. The
reality is the so-far, it’s still quite cool so there
may be portions, particularly on Nord/North that
remain fairly solid for the whole day.
