Some times you just have to pinch yourself to see if it's a dream.

88 runs open, great snow, easy winter temps, a few sunrays,
some more snow, my goodness, how lucky can we get?

Now is the time to look for the excuses you need to toss
your gear in the car, hit the highway and hit the slopes!

That is, of course, unless you are already here, in which case,
don't waste a single minute. Start with "First Tracks" and keep
on going til last run.

Personally, I think we are about 10 days to 2 weeks ahead of
average for the last decade, so lets appreciate what we have
and make the most of it.

Temps are starting out this A.M. at about -13 or so, which
is certainly not too bad, there will be a bit of a Westerly wind
that will be coming from up McCulloch, so once again, if you
are riding up the TGV quad chair, it will be at your back.

Once you clear the summit, the North Side will be sheltered
for the most part, but the the temps will rise to about -11C,
just around lunch which means that it will be just another
nice winter day on ALL the sides at Tremblant, not hard to take at all.

Hey, today is a great day to work on technique !

This morning, try scouting out some good terrain, you know,
like your favorite run, then after lunch, do 5 or 6 laps on it,
one right after another, find a rhythm, work on finesse and
polish those skills!

Now, if you're not into laps, how about a "Different Strokes Tour”,
that's where you take a different lift every run and do every lift
on the Mountain. That's a great way to cover the whole Mountain
and what you might find is that there is one side or another that
you have not yet tried that will have surprisingly good conditions.
Naturally, if you find any "Hidden Gems", "repeat as necessary".

Bottom line, whatever you do today at Tremblant, it's going to be
an excellent, fun day... enjoy!
