------------ T360 Late Night Apres Ski Edit @ 11:37 P.M. --------------
The snow and the wind are already starting to work...
See below for additional detail on this approaching storm system.

5(*) Open Trails.
Very First Official Versant Sud/South Side Trail Openings.
Beauvallon Haut/Upper And Alpine.
Here’s a file shot of what you should be looking at
from the top, at La Crete.

International Weather News.
Conditions Notes:
More snow, more snow on the way.
More trails, more trails on the way.
"Jusqu’ici tout va bien!"
So far, so good.
The quality of the newly opened Versant Sud/South Side
trails should be a bit more refined than what Opening Day
had just because there’s been a bunch of natural snow
since then and that should be a blended in component
of the surfaces that typically elevates the smoothness
underfoot. That does not mean there won’t be any evidence
of machine processed blown snow however, so we do think
there will be a break-in period where some coarseness of
the initial conditions will be rendered out by ski/board
traffic as well as additional overnight grooming cycles.
Opening new zones and especially new lifts like the TGV Quad
today, always helps maintain more durable daily quality as
the traffic loads are spread out over such a large expansion
of square area so we think smoothness should be a very
easy all day feature.
In our opinion, we think the first Summit-To-Base Ski-out
is still going to be Versant Nord/North Side. There has been
a tremendous volume of work going on there and that may
include an acknowledgment this morning with snowmaking
icons added for Trail # 79, Sissy Schuss and its enclosed
terrain park Mitik.
Below: These snap shots illustrate the significant resources
being deployed on the lower Versant North/North Side
for the construction of both the Beauchemin Bas/Lower
descent path from the Lowell Thomas Base plateau, as
well as the work on Sissy Schuss/Park Mitik. Fantastic
news for regional Tremblant fans who use the P-Nord
parking zone as their base of ski-day operations.
Archival Copy of Official Daily Message:
Bonjour Tremblant! Today, we’re excited to bring you
a fantastic surprise: in addition to the slopes accessible
via the Lowell Thomas lift, we’re opening up the
Beauvallon Haut Alpine Haut runs and the TGV lift!
And that's not all – we’re expecting fresh snowfall
throughout the day. For your ascent, head to the
South Side to reach the summit via the gondola,
as the Duncan lift will be closed.
Be sure to plan your day accordingly, as the return
to the South Base will also be by Gondola.
The forecast is looking great, and we’re gearing up
to open even more slopes and lifts in the near future.
With multiple areas of the mountain being progressively
covered in snow, we’re getting ready for our next big
event: the 24h Tremblant, taking place from December 13 to 15.
