Nice N’ Easy!

It’s also a bit foggy, sometimes a lot foggy but
that’s way better than wet, so we’ll take it!

With the cloud ceiling shown at 600 metres, it’s inevitable
that the foggy bits occur as the breezes move the system
through and from time-to-time, cloud contact in and around
the Summit happens.

Weather Notes:

A Couple More Easy Warm Ones.

Conditions Notes:

In the Groomed:

Generally very fine, however if the typical temperature
differential between warm base and cooler Summit
occurs, there may be thermal forces that could produce
some firm or icy zones as temps float around Zero C
over elevations. Look for patterns and look for those
patterns to evolve with both temperature effects, as
well as traffic effects.

Some steeper pitches are a bit prone to icy bits as
the recent warmth has created some flow zones,
however, even in the fog they are fairly easily
discernible because the saturation shows up as
definitively different patchy colours that stand
out from the surrounding snow. That makes them
easy to navigate around.

In The Sous Bois/Hors Piste/Glades and Un-Groomed:

Still waiting... The Ski Patrol will be monitoring these
zones and as soon as they’re safe, they’ll be back on.
Patience is required while these zones are closed and
all guests should respect open terrain limits.

Archival Copy Of Official Daily Message:

Bonjour Tremblant! Due to the recent rainfall,
we had to close several ski and alpine hiking trails.
However, don’t lose your enthusiasm, as winter is
back on the mountain! We’ve already received
4 cm of snow in the last 24 hours, and Mother
Nature is forecasting even more snow today.

want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.

When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.

There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.

( If you “Bookmark" the link above, it will always take you to the
First index page with the latest posts. That gives you an immediate,
current to 25 day past, review scroll of Winter Alpine Conditions by
