A close examination of the above trail map will show that the top portion
of Fuddle Duddle is a blue run. Is is steeper than the lower portion and
typically, it is left as an un-groomed mogul run. If there is a deep recent
snow this run can have close, deeply trough'd moguls that we might even
consider would bring it very close to a black rating that requires strong
expert technique and durable muscle stamina. It is a local favourite and
it's name is attributed to past Canadian Prime Minister Pierre Elliot Trudeau
who is said to have considered it to be his own personal favourite.
This pic is looking up on the lower portion, just below
the #94, La Griffe intersection.
Tremblant regulars will know that in years gone by Fuddle Duddle and
Sissy Schuss CROSSED just above the middle length where a clearing
is shown joining the two in the above trail map. What we now call
lower Fuddle Duddle was lower Sissy Schuss and visa-versa. It is our
understanding that the names were switched to avoid confusion
on the part of guests unfamiliar with this sector of the Mountain.
