So far, not a single cloud in the sky.

A few days ago, we referred to "Weather Forecasting”
as an "Art" as well as a "Science".

That was when we were talking about the predicted shift
in the temperature ranges that should have taken us out
of the "Deep Freeze" zone.

Evidently, Mother nature had other plans.

At -26C, here @ Tremblant this A.M. we are quite a bit cooler
than those projections, so once again, we find ourselves in the
grip of a "cool" morning. Make sure that you do not have any
exposed noses, cheeks or ears as unprotected skin can be damaged
in a few minutes at these temps.

There will be a lot of energy in the sun though, and by mid-day,
we should see a dramatic rise in the temps to between -9C, to -12C,
which under sunny sky's, is very easy to handle.

There will be a bit of a North wind, so it will cross the Mountain
from the P'tit Bonhour side.

Yesterdays Great carving conditions will be pretty much identical today.

Please use caution with regard to speed. There are slick patches
underfoot in some high traffic areas and too much speed will make
it difficult to be safe if you hit one of these zones unexpectedly.

Also watch your speed on the edges of some runs where moguls are
formed. Some of the moguls are easy to "blast" through, but others
have more solid cores that could throw you. I hit a series of these
yesterday and the first four were easy, but the fifth one pitched
me head over heels before I could react. They all looked the same
to begin with, so that just points out that you can not assume every
thing that "Looks" identical, is identical.

Runs like "Alpine" on the South Side were very nice yesterday and
today should be no different, so take it easy as you explore the
Mountain today and use caution, particularly in areas that you
are on for the first time.
