All the Pic's above are from Yesterday. They're real,
They're Tremblant, and They're right now....

The Open Alpine Terrain is in great shape for this still early time
of the Season. Including the "Progressive" Potential Openings, plus
what's on the Snowmaking list, it's also a time of rapid expansion
in the Open Terrain too.

There may be the odd Icy glitch in narrow high traffic areas, over
one or two steeper crests, but far and away, 98% of the Trails
Open are in very fine condition and very much worth getting out for.

One of the biggest benefits of Tremblant today, besides the Terrain, is the
uncrowded, wide open vertical that allows you to get in run after run
in full-tilt training mode for the ultimate Outdoor workout that will
have you in better shape, and better health, as a result of your visit.

Todays Specifics...

Surfaces are a mix of fine, dry predominantly natural snow crystals
as well as blown snow over a well established and solid base. Speed
and control performance is for the most part, flawless. Grip levels
are very high and all forms of control input respond very well to
any technique from beginner snow plows, right on up the most aggressive
race technique high speed carving.

Todays Weather....

Currently Overcast with light Snow Flurries and some rapid Squall-like
concentrations. A gusty West to Nor-West wind, so blowing across the
Summit from the Nansen Sector towards Duncan. Cooling off after
Sunset with a crisp overnight of -20C which should make for excellent
Snowmaking tonight and fast conditions tomorrow.

....more on the way in Apres Ski.

Speaking of "On The Way" ... that's what you should
be doing too... to Tremblant! Skiing/Boarding, Very Fine!

:) Bring Back The Memories... Research Future Visits...
If you would like to look up dates you visited Tremblant, or you
want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.

GoTo: Archive, Search Reports by Date: Index: http://tinyurl.com/yktelmu

When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.

There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.

( If you "Bookmark" the link above, it will always take you to the
First index page with the latest posts. That gives you an immediate,
current to 25 day past, review scroll of Winter Alpine Conditions by
consecutive date.)

T360 Apres Ski, and Partial Draft Of Tomorrow Morning Report.

We reported that there might be "Rapid, Squall-Like Concentrations" of Snow this morning...

No Filters, No Special Effects... Just Snow, Blown and Natural and...
all wrapped up in thick Cloud that reduced visibility to what you see here...
Quite close to Zero.

We also reported that it would be "Gusty"....

Like Sand Waves on a beach... the wind shaped contours of high speed
over the crest of Alpine. Please note the tinge of Sunlight which was
substantially more present below the Summit.

Below: Within moments of the pic above, a turn to the right shows
how quickly the weather was moving.

The surrounding Towns, Villages and other Base Elevations got
some snow overnight, but Mother Nature had different plans for the
Summit Sectors of Tremblant.

Bigger, better plans. What we like to call "Lee-side Orographic Precipitation"....

Both North And South got some nice drifting zones, but the North
got more.

There were still powder shots to be had on the sides of
P'tit Bonheur at "Last Run"!!!

Now, you may be asking yourself...
are the reports of all this Snow on the Level????

(We are not sponsored by Level Gloves. We use them because they work.
They are quite possibly the best gloves made in our opinion. This pair is
almost 7 seasons old with hundreds of days of use and they still keep fingers
warm on the coldest of days. They also come in handy when you want to
make this "On The Level" play on words!)

Anyway... The North-Side Powder advantage extended down to the
base level, and in this shot of Lower Expo, it is evident that there were
quite a few "Tests" done here, despite its closed status.

so here's one from Last Run on South-Side Nansen!

If all these aren't enough to motivate Regional Tremblant fans to get out for
tomorrow, if possible, then add this one in and you shouldn't be able to
refuse...

Tremblant is covered with Primo White Winter Snow.

Do not miss this opportunity for Great early Season
Skiing or Boarding.

If you have any chance at all, escape to Tremblant before
they notice you're Gone!
