By all accounts the 2009 Tour de Lance at Mont Tremblant was a big success! Lance Armstrong, the world’s most prominent advocate in the fight against cancer, teamed up with 42 cyclists who committed to raising $25,000+ each. Between a 100km ride with the group of riders, a charity dinner, and a dragon boat festival, the Cedars Cancer Institute was able to raise over $2 million! Proceeds benefit the Cedars Cancer Institute and The McGill University Health Centre, towards the purchase of life saving state-of-the-art equipment which will aid in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer.
