If you live in the Quebec, Ontario postal codes beginning with
G,H,J, or K, then the Tremblant T-66 Ski/Board Pass is a
"No Brainer" bargain of the decade. Period.

Essentially, you can't afford to ski or board anywhere else but
Tremblant with this wonderful program.

(full links posted below)

Lets do the math...

First, for a mere $249.00 you are buying a "Bundle" of 66 days
for the season that you now "Own" and you can ski or board from
1 to all 66 days for that same price. Tremblant.ca chooses the
dates well in advance and then publishes them in a calendar format.

Even with the applicable taxes, the total only comes to $286.67,
so if you could use all 66 days, your cost per day would be $286.67
divided by 66 = $4.34!

So then, tell us where you can ski or board the quality and scope of
Tremblant for as low as $4.34 per day?

Of course, it's not likely that there will be many that can organize
their time well enough to get all 66 days, but if you live within the
previously noted postal codes, with a little effort put into planning
there's no reason you probably couldn't get 10, 15, 20 or more days
considering that typically there are 16 or so weekend days and that
the T-66 calender is published around the beginning of October each
season.

With that kind of advanced notice, if you're a ski or board freak on a
budget, you have more than enough time to organize your days at
Tremblant, up to 7 (from October to April) months ahead.

Lets get back to the math... Using our total cost, including taxes
@ $286.67, lets divide that by an easy 10 to come out at a very
affordable cost per day of $28.67, and you've got 7 months to
figure out which 10 days you can get yourself to Tremblant for!

If you extend this mathematical model out to 15 days, the cost per
day comes down to $19.11, extended further to 20 days and your cost
per day becomes $14.33!

In addition, the T-66 entitles you to 40% off on non T-66 Mondays through
Thursdays, 25% off non T-66 Fridays and Sundays and 5% off non T-66
Saturdays. In this way, it is possible to plan a very inexpensive week at
Tremblant by connecting T-66 days with highly discounted fill-ins.

Another super convenient feature of the T-66 is the "Direct To Lift"
feature. By purchasing with a credit card and attaching the card to the
T-66 pass, on the days you decide to ski/board that are non T-66, all
you have to do is go directly to the lift and get on... No ticket booth
...No lineup ...No waiting, proceed straight to skiing or boarding. The
discounted price for your lift ticket is automatically charged to the
attached card when your pass is scanned as you get on to ride up.

As a family of 4, we bought the T-66 passes right from the first
season they were available, many seasons ago, and with meticulous,
careful planning every October to co-ordinate weekends, vacation days,
(we even pulled the kids out of school occasionally to make up a Family
vacation week or long weekend) in our best season, we managed to
get just over 30 days with a cost per day of about $8.00 bucks!

Bottom line on that is that the T-66 made it possible for our family to
have a real ski season with several multi-day visits and a family ski-week ,
when otherwise we could not have afforded it. Not everybody that loves
to ski or board is rich, it's that simple, and the T-66 can make all the
difference because now you can afford to re-allocate funds to pay for ski
swap equipment for rapidly growing kids, accommodation, food, and
all the other things you can think of that you need to get yourself or
your Family on the Mountain.

This is why we say the Tremblant T-66 is a gift for skiers and boarders
on a budget.

Thanks Tremblant for keeping this valuable program running!

Please Note: Orig. publication of this Post-Discount content was
on or about November 4th, 2010.

ONLY READ THIS IF YOU MISSED THE ADVANCED DISCOUNT PURCHASE PROGRAM FOR THE T66

Tremblant's T-66, Still The Best Ski/Board Bargain.
We do the math...

Please note:

This offer from http://www.tremblant.ca is only available to specified Local Canadian Postal Codes, Starting with the letters: G,H,J, or K.

The orig. publication date of this article was during the "Early Bird", advanced discount period which was only available until November 3rd., 2010.
(If you are looking at this in any future season, as long as you verify and purchase DURRING THE ADVANCED DISCOUNT PERIOD>>> Typically, from when the program is announced in October, until some point in early November, scroll up to our "Do The Math" for sample discounted cost analysis.)

If you missed the advanced purchase discount...

Even now though, when you look at the numbers, at todays purchase price of $319.00, plus taxes, which brings the total to $367.27, the T-66 is still an excellent deal.

There could have been many good reasons that you were not able to take advantage of that early discount, so let's look at today's reality.

Figuring against the retail 1 day lift ticket, today's T-66 price including tax is a "Break-Even" at 4.18 days. You can then basically say that every day, after your 4th day, is free. At the Pre-Season price the "Break-Even" was 3.27 days. A difference for sure, but not critical in terms of the seasonal "Scale of Economies", when you can really rack up some free days by planning ahead.

Speaking of " Economies of Scale"...

What $367.27 also means, is that you have to basically ski 3 more days to make all the numbers work out the same as the "Early Bird" Math we did below, for the 10 day cost averaging analysis.

If you can ski 13 of the days left on the T-66 as of Dec.18th, 2010, then your cost per day for those 13 days is $28.67 Including taxes.

This is where the T-66 excels at any price, when you divide its cost out at multi, bulk days, bundles.

Where can you ski/board the scope of Tremblant for $28.67, including tax, per day for a 13 day bundle? ...and you've got until April 1st, 2011 to use 'em up.

If you were lucky or skillful enough to get 15 days off the T-66 calendar from this point, your cost per day would be $24.48 !!!

25 bucks a day to ski or board Tremblant is a great volume discount for 15 days and you can buy this program on-line, right now.

If there's any error you can see in these cost models, please sign up here and let us know how you figure it.
