T360 Apres Ski Edit ....
While the entire North East Coast is going to be digging out
from a massive storm, Tremblant has gotten a nice white refresher
and we also have the promise of more snow coming up.
Mountain Crews will be working all night to groom in the fresh.
Tomorrows surfaces will be very crisp, dry and well compacted.
The Official, Preliminary(Subject to morning confirmation) shows 80 Open trails
for tomorrow.
We are including the Trail List Attached below in Apres Ski "Reply".

75(*) Open Trails on 4 sides of Tremblant expecting Snow!
Regional Eastern North American's are bracing for a very
heavy winter snow storm that is slightly south of Tremblant.
Areas around Boston Mass. USA, may see as much as 90 CM's
or 3 feet of snow. Tremblant may see 9 or 10 CM's around 4 inches
however the forecasts could be out and we may get more.
Here is an Environment Canada Radar Projection for 8:00 A.M.
Showing the principle Snow activity passing along the St. Lawrence
River Valley.
Skiing and Boarding are excellent now, so if we get the forecasted
additional snow conditions will definitely be better.... and....
...Perhaps more importantly, the new snow may contribute to re-opening
more terrain. Our projection would be for low to mid 80's Open Trail
count for tomorrow and Sunday.
Great Ski Conditions are sometimes very poor conditions for
spontaneous, hand held, far off, telephoto photography, shot
from a moving, vibrating chair lift in flat grey light during
a snow storm. No Kidding, eh? ...
But this snowy sample in exactly these conditions goes a long way
to describing what Tremblant is like today.

If you can get here... do it. Very fine surfaces already and
"New Snow" Better, throughout the day.
Forecasted daytime high temp at -11 C, but strong Easterly Winds
blowing up Duncan could cause gusty Summit conditions and if strong
or gusty enough, maybe even Lift "Issues" with safety.
Look for rapidly building drifts too. It really should be a great, snowy
winter day!
Best Sign Of Great Skiing and Boarding!
We recommend you use the "Previous Topic" Button,
upper screen right to scroll back through a couple of days
for a re-cap of the development of the underlaying base
that is very fine... if ....you have not been following along
for a while. Mountain Crews have done a fantastic job
in recent days and the pic's show relevant detail.
