7(*) Open runs on the Official list representing

South and North sides of Tremblant.
Good Spring-like Ski/Board Surfaces on
P'tit Bonheur and Nansen Upper.
Ski and Board performance will be optimized
by base waxing or coating with "warm" temp
range materials.
The Pic's above and below are significant for 3 reasons:
1) There's a lot of snow at the Summit of Tremblant!
The quantity and quality of the snow coverage that
the Tremblant Mountain Crews have been able to
create and maintain, given the weather challenges,
is remarkable. So far, there is hardly a glitch anywhere
in the open terrain.
2) They show that there are multiple Alpine Ski/Board
Teams training at Tremblant right now. They know
the vital importance of getting out as early as possible
for real training on real snow for building skills and
strength for the upcoming season.
3) You should be here for the same reasons!
Todays weather should see a base level temp of about +7 or so
under overcast skies with the possibility of rain later on in the day
after the slopes are closed.
The winds are forecasted to be moderate at about 15KMPH from
the south-east which will have them coming over the summit
from the Duncan side towards Nansen. Riding up either the TGV
or Lowell Thomas should not get much of it till you're almost at the top
and at these temps, it's not going to be hard to handle anyway.
There's sun in the forecast for tomorrow... wow, what a nice change
that would be!

Completely Different .....
Our New Favourite "Winter" Car Award !!!
Lamborghini Gallardo Supperleggera!!!
Only at Tremblant!!!!
We had to go to the grocery store Apres Ski and on the way
there we spotted this Italian Exotic Super-car. Personally, we
wouldn't want to get any salt on our Lamborghini, but hey,
to some people, that's not a big deal!
Back to Skiing/Boarding...
Bottom line is that the open surfaces are in fine
shape for early season training/riding enjoyment and
after a long off-season it's great to be back on the slopes!
More following in Apres Ski later on...
