Answer:
Nothing!
...so we ski in the snow cloud
somedays like today at Tremblant,
get used to it...

The Skiing/Boarding will be very fine,
and the Summit should remain semi-snowy,
sub-zero by a few Deg. C throughout the day.

What you get at Tremblant today
is the result of a ton of work over the last week
by Mountain Crews, to a great extent, on the course
for the 24 Hour event, plus about 8 inches of
Natural Snow.

Weekend Pic's

So, what you need to do now, is get in
your vehicle and proceed directly to the Summit to
examine things for yourself!

Views like this were common
on the weekend, beautifully, wintery, pre-Christmas
Tremblant Signature Scenery!

Was trying to protect lens from direct sun, but
got these interesting solar lens flares by accident.

The Skiing and Boarding are on the most refined,
well groomed surfaces possible. We think everything that
is open is of very high quality and while everyone might
like to see more of Mother Natures snow, Tremblant
Mountain Crews have done a great job producing
these seamlessly smooth slopes.

As an Alpine Winter Sports Fan,
Ya gotta' love this....

Carving on Nansen is very fine, the satin-like
smoothness of the dry snow at altitude has
both grip and speed capability.

More to follow...

But until then...
There's only one Tremblant!

The day by day, consistent, reliable quality of the
superb carving on P'tit Bonheur since Opening Day
has been impeccable. We can and do spend hours
on this run doing laps that we never seem to tire of.
Time practicing on this run, regardless of skill level,
will make you better. It is one of our favourite places
in the entire world.

:) Bring Back The Memories... Research Future Visits...
If you would like to look up dates you visited Tremblant, or you
want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.

GoTo: Archive, Search Reports by Date: Index: http://tinyurl.com/yktelmu

When reviewing dates from any past, numbered, archived index pages,
you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.

There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.

( If You  "Bookmark" the link above, it will always take you to the
First index page with the latest posts. That gives you an immediate,
current to 25 day past, review scroll of Winter Alpine Conditions by
consecutive date.)

Processing through some last weekend Pic's

Sunshine, Snow, and Speed!

Coaches and Racers alike know the value of early season
training...Vital! Tremblant's excellent Alpine surfaces
are a prime environment for getting a jump on the season,
and that's no different for recreational Skiers/Boarders too.
Teams from all over can be found setting out from the Summit
for various runs on the Mountain to get their "Racers Edge".

Trademark Tremblant Blue Sky over La Traverse
sets a dramatic backdrop as we look up towards
the top of the run. This is newly opened North
Side train for this past weekend.

La Traverse had some icy bits in the centre of the run due to
the fact that some of the base Snowmaking actually occurred
prior to Opening day Nov.24.11. While North Side Summit
temps stayed very close to zero throughout the time following,
there were several days that had rain-sleet moisture that
we think were responsible. Despite all that, there were bands of
soft turnable snow on the runs outboard edges. The widest
section of soft snow was between 3 to 5 meters on the right side
of this pic. looking up.
