Back to more "Normal" tomorrow, at least in the sense that
there shouldn't be any Lightning and the daytime temps are
forecasted to be half of recent highs, a way more comfortable
+13 C .
We'll see how it goes, but the near term weather models are calling
for some below zero, not a lot, but below zero overnights coming up
too.
We may have lost a fair bit, but we haven't lost it all, so as long
as they can get us to the top, we're on it.

Nooner Update:
Good Lord !!!, What's Next ??? !!!!
Tremblant forced to shut down Lifts due to Lightning!!!
Now that's "Murphy's Law" icing on the cake!!!
Wow, as if there wasn't enough weather "Drama", Mother
Nature has a little tantrum on the side, just to add some
additional "spice" to the mix...
More later...
but in the mean-time, don't be waving your ski poles around in the air...

40(*) Open Trails on the Surrealistic, Hot 2
sides of Tremblant.
The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly....
If Clint Eastwood was making a Ski Movie today he might
drag up that title and use it again. Unfortunately, it kind of
describes what's going on at Tremblant right now.
The Good....
We're Still Skiing....
The Bad.....
Basically, Tremblant is being Micro-Waved on "High".
The Ugly....
Watching precious Snow disappear, in places, by the hour.
Firstly, don't panic. There's still snow and Skiing/Boarding are
not going to be over tomorrow. It is limited to the Official List
as attached below, but it is not over.
Yesterday at the Summit. -----------------------------------------
Our Thanks go out this morning to our Field Reporters "Miller" and "DJkidSL"
who have shared their "Yesterday" experience with us, which form
the basis of today's report. Both of these intrepid Adventurers hail from
Ottawa and are enthusiastic Tremblant Fans whose effort and feedback
we greatly appreciate.
-------------------------------------------
Even in the face of overwhelming, ridiculous, Micro-Wave on High, heat...
there are still significant amounts of Open Terrain for those dedicated
Tremblant Ski/Board Fans that are not ready to kiss goodbye to Winter
yet.

PDF, Trail and Grooming report,

And Please Note... we are intentionally starting with the positive
here first because this is a Winter Alpine Ski/Board report, so we
want to know what we can Ski as a priority.
The fortunate reality is that there is still good terrain on
a limited basis, primarily on the North. The Shadows in this
pic. are one important factor why.
The unfortunate reality in many areas, particularly the South, is
that the loss of snow in the uncontrollable heat has been dramatic.
"After", i.e.., yesterday...
"Before", i.e., 1 week ago today....
We have additional pic's to add from our Field Reporters,
Miller and DJkidSL, and will do so as time permits.
If you want to go Skiing or Boarding, you can, and if your
bases are properly prepared, they'll be lots of fun too.
Look on the "Bright Side"....
You won't be Cold!
Fresh Air and Sunshine X's 10!
Mondo Exercise Better Than Any Gym!
Our "Spring", in this case "Extreme Spring" motto is...
"If there's a strip of Snow, and a way to get to the top of it,
we'll Ski it!"
