tell a very effective story at 7:30 A.M., prior to heading off to the Mountain....

Depending on the amount of humidity in the new snow,
there may be thickness in some surface conditions. We urge
caution and speed control until you have verified safe passage,
so explore carefully for the first runs before you go ripping around!
If there is thickness, it may take Mountain Crews a day or so to integrate
the new snow into the base on the wide ranging Mountain terrain.
Beginners and intermediates who may be the most sensitive to accumulated
depth will find trails like Nansen and P'tit Bonheur the most user friendly.
It's just going to be one of those days....
Not that great for photography, but still excellent for Skiing/Boarding!

Fresh Overnight Snow can create challenges for those who
are used to, or prefer Groomed. A focus on basic technique
executed with moderate speed will help Beginners and
Intermediates to cope with accumulations that may be thicker
than you are used to. Use wide traverses, stay low, compact
and use your best "Snowplow" to initiate turns if necessary.
Mountain crews will be working around the clock to integrate the
fresh into the base, so you'll find tomorrow's surfaces generally more
refined by all their efforts.
If you feel those Quad muscles Apres Ski, have a good steak, fish
or other high protein source for dinner to help re-fuel and repair!
