T360 Prime Time Apres Ski Posted Below as “Reply” and under

Summary: Skiing Boarding Get Unexpected Benefit from Active Warmer Weather.
Slightly Less Speed, However, Overall Enhanced Control Responsiveness
and Very High Levels of Grip and Traction created by Warmer Range Top
Surface Layer and Fresh, New, Icing Sugar Snow.
The First Hint Of “Spring-Like” Performance Today, Compared to Recent “Squeaky”
Cold Winter Snow.

+1 C at South Resort Base Level… But Fear Not, Because…
with Elevation Differential at roughly 3 to 5 C Cooler at Summit Levels,
we do not expect any significant effects to the very well chilled
Alpine Snow Sports Surfaces.
We could be wrong, but time will tell and we’ll let you know for sure.
-------------------------------------------
Todays report looks at some of the specific challenges that come with the
Rapid Onset of Yesterday’s Blustery Winter Weather(within Mother Natures
Whims), but you need to know that for the most part, Tremblant’s Skiing and
Boarding continue on at Very Fine Levels and...
Today will represent a Substantially Improved Refinement
of All Groomed Surfaces.
So, when this below, is the base component, Generally Speaking….
We Think You’ll Be Pleased With
The Snow You Find At Tremblant...

The recent accumulations you see above are approximately 3.5 Metres
from the right side of P’tit Bonheur’s upper pitch. From November 22nd,
until April 21st, this Masterpiece of Simply Brilliant Trail Design, Shines
Out as our candidate for “Most Consistently Excellent Every Single Day
Alpine Snow Sports Trail On Earth”. Period.
Sure… there are lots of Trails that have more this or that in terms of
challenge or layout, but in balance, we’d dare anyone to come up with
a candidate for sheer reliability, day in, day out, all season long.
Yesterday was no exception...
The full Colour, Black ’n White Snowy Winter Day made for very challenging
photography, sometimes from moment to moment depending on Swirling Snow
and quickly shifting cloud shadow density with our rudimentary camera gear,
and the wind was whipping up a fury on other facing sides of Tremblant, but
nestled away in it’s typically quiet corner, P’tit Bonheur offered not only a
peaceful refuge, but arguably the smoothest most consistent surfaces of the day.
For some reason, even though it seemed to have gotten just as much snow as
any other sector, there was almost no unevenness in the surface and as such,
it was clearly a superior Learning Environment for Beginners and Intermediates.
EXPERTS ONLY PLEASE:
Expo was a good example of Expert Level Challenges and those with
compact low postures, a tight stance and careful edge and speed control
were rewarded with lots of opportunity to show off compared to those
less skillful.
This is not meant as any criticism though and practically speaking, the
only way to learn competency in these conditions is to practice in them.
Just be careful.
In the background here above, you can see one of the “Icy Bits” of quite
small dimension. Covered with snow though, as small as they are, they
can surprise you with a quick tail-spin if your speed is excessive.
