Tremblant Mountain Web Cam Fans will be very pleased
to see the restoration of the Summit Web Cam to the
total 5 camera array.
Very fitting that this first recorded image for our post here
is the first snow of the fall season. Please note that the images
at the Summit and the base of the Cabriolet are now labeled “HD”.
Any examination of the Tremblant360.com Daily Mountain
Winter Alpine Snow Sports Conditions archive will show
we have made steady use of the Summit Web Cam as a
diagnostic element in reporting evolving conditions.
In particular, the hours before each mornings lift Opening, and
in Apres Ski, this Web Cam is an extremely valuable indicator
of weather activity.
The Web Cam Home Page within the Tremblant.ca site has a new
address(link attached below), so we will update the link in our
Conditions postings.
We recommend Web Cam review as a fundamental component of
every “First Things In The Morning” information collection for any
day on the slopes. This Web Cam provides a wealth of observational
insights and we’re happy to see it back on-line.
We use the “Zoom-in” feature a lot and we also use expanded
segment screenshots to add useful detail where appropriate.
The other Web Cam we use with almost the same frequency is the Versant Nord,
North Side Base. Frequently, North Side Weather can be vastly different than
South, Resort Base Side Weather and being able to make instant comparisons
has obvious advantages when conditions on either side benefit.
