Skiing/Boarding with Respect for The Mountain Code, and with
Equal Respect for Realistic Skills and Appropriate Choice of
Terrain, are two examples of factors that Save Accidents, and
Reduce Injuries.

We promote Safety almost every single day, so it’s our privilege when we
occasionally meet Ski Patrol Team Members, to thank them for their efforts!
A More Than Classic, Almost “Iconic” Day at Tremblant. The ONLY thing equalling the
superlative conditions was the Magnificent Sunny Vistas. The View from any of the
Summit vantage points was “Post Card” perfect and with Low Wind Speeds, we were
Warm!!!
More Later, if possible, but if you haven’t figured out a way to get to Tremblant,
you should move quickly... Even though all these recent Blizzards have substantially
increased the favourable odds of one of the best Spring Seasons on record...
Winter does not last forever.

These are the days that define The Winter Experience.
These are the days that define The Virtues of Latitude, North.
These are the days that define Sudden, Unexpected, Good Luck.
These are the days that define Mother Nature’s Most Positive Potential.
These are the days that define Extraordinary Historical, Anecdotal, Personal References.
These are the days that define Singular Memories of Par Excellence.
These are the days that define The Peaks Of Our Sport.
We’d also say, based on 40 some-odd Seasons, these are the days that happen
about once a Decade as we have the distant memories of similar sequences that
come through the Brian Fog of Total Recollections. Please Note: That is by no means
any kind of statistical or scientific reference because we do not have the time
or method to verify any previous similar cumulative standards.
Regardless, 2 Metres or 6.5 Feet of Natural Snow in 3 weeks at Tremblant is
a big, big deal in more ways than one.
Firstly, there’s the Joy of the Moment. The Bars, Pub’s Restaurant’s and
Lift's of Ski Resorts around the World are filled with the stories of “Remember When...”
This will certainly be one of those Joyful Tremblant Recollections for those
Lucky or Fortunate enough to be here over recent days.
Secondly, there’s the Keen Sense of Anticipation for the Enjoyment of the Immediate
future. Those already here for a booked Ski Holiday just starting, those Locals and
Regionals that can always find a way to arrange to be here for truly Extraordinarily
Excellent and Spontaneously Happening Gifts from Mother Nature, can’t believe
their Good Luck.
Thirdly, there’s the all the benefits of Massive Quantities of High Quality Snow
almost Instantly added to the very fine pre-existing base at the beginning of March.
The prospects for Excellent Spring Skiing Potential Just Shot Through The Roof!
There are probably more, and if we think of them we’ll add them later, but the point is...
Our Season here at Tremblant has just changed in such a positive way that even with
the normal Seasonal Up’s ’n Down’s that naturally come with the Temp. swings of Spring,
there’s no way it won’t be a Fabulous, Joyful, Excellent, Wonderful March that will
no doubt be remembered, referenced, and compared to for Years.
Another “Point” we’d like to make, actually, we frequently like to make because it’s true...
You’d be Nuts, Crazy, Whacko, or Generally Missing Functional Brain Cells if
you could make it to Tremblant A.S.A.P., but don’t.

Close to 6 Feet, over 180 cm’s of Snow Under this Scene...
It took almost 10 minutes to Boot Pack enough Snow down to stand at the
height necessary to get this overview. Otherwise, step off your Skis and you
immediately sink into the snow so deep it’s actually very difficult to move in it.
