At 538cm’s of Seasonal Snowfall, April 2018 is now tied
at the #2 position of “Most Snow” Winter, in the 21st Century, so far...

We add “So Far”, because with a week to go, we fully expect to pass
that amount, maybe not by much, but never-the-less by enough to
give this winter the Official #2 spot in the records by April 15th.

The Beautiful...

Super Snow White Winter in April?

What That Means For Today, and for this last Official Week is, it’s
an Extraordinary Opportunity for anyone who can make it out,
to experience very close to ideal Winter Conditions with near
Glitch-Free Winter Coverages, in April. When you factor in the
"Joy of Skiing” and it’s physiological benefits as a form of vigorous
exercise... which you will Not Be Able To Have Again Until Next November...
there’s even more reason to make every ounce of effort you can to
be a part of this literally “Historic” Super-Snowy Seasons Finale.

Otherwise...
It’s another one of those days where the Forecast says “Partially Sunny”,
but when you look out the window, Mother Nature is telling you “No”, at
least to begin with.

It could clear off, we all know that the weather can change in a hour,
sometimes in minutes, but we’d be happy if it stayed wrong all day in
order to remain a perfectly Snowy Winter Skiing day!

Weather Notes:

Regarding the next week forecast, and as usual...
With daytime high temps at anything up to +4C at
Sud, South Resort Base, the temps are normally -4C
Cooler at Mountain Elevations. The possibilities
therefore exist that any precipitation may be Snow
over Summit and Nord, North Sectors. This is particularly
applicable if the precipitation is forecast for any other
hours than between 12:00 & 17:00 when temps are
lower than those peak hours.

The forecasted Sub-Zero Overnights are major stability assets
for the retention of new snowfall and the ongoing quality of
the Alpine Snow Sports Trail Network from base to surface layers.
The way it shows now, this forecast is just about as warm as
could be possible without any real thermal intrusion or loss
of covered square area. It seems as though the Official
end of this season will be basically “Winter”, right up to "Last Run".

Conditions Notes:

What can we say... It’s like “February" or “March", or “Winter” by any
standards of coverage and quality... In April.

Any Regional Tremblant Fan with discretionary planning capability
should be executing Emergency Escape To Ski Protocols IMMEDIATELY.

:) Bring Back The Memories... Research Future Visits...
If you would like to look up dates you visited Tremblant, or you
want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.

GoTo: Archive, Search Reports by Date: Index: http://tinyurl.com/yktelmu

When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.

There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.

( If you "Bookmark" the link above, it will always take you to the
First index page with the latest posts. That gives you an immediate,
current to 25 day past, review scroll of Winter Alpine Conditions by
consecutive date.)
