Not only are the hidden gems at Tremblant beautiful
but in this specific case they can tell you a lot about
shape of natural accumulations, particularly what we
refer to as “Drift-in” over the Summit. The reason
Andy Moe has so much snow and opened so early
is it’s lee-side location, just behind and just below
the Summit Peak. When the big storm happened just
a few days ago Andy Moe as well as the adjacent
terrain, got dumped on, so it is now sort of a
cross-sectional record of the big storm that you can
go to to see the benefit of its unique location.

Weather Notes:

Wow...

Conditions Notes:

The Ultimate In Practical...

First Official full day of Ski-out Summit-To-Base, Versant Sud/South Side.

Today should see a substantial density increase across the
range of groomed terrain as the loft in all the recent rapid
and very deep snow finally gets compressed closer to ideal
levels. This may mean that there is greater mogul resistance
in the all-day conditions and a more user-friendly degree
of versatility between the Greens and Blues.

Despite the fact that it’s really cold to begin with, the effects
on the snow in terms of a cold snap freeze dry should have
natural speed that we forecast will last all day.

Please Note: Your T360 author is not yet able to
be on site due to a post-surgical, medical LOA.
We expect to have that cleared by mid-December.
Thanks for your patience. In the mean-time, we
intend to maintain the daily, chronologically filed,
weather and trail status data plus whatever
observational commentary possible for archival
date/seasonal/historical period sampling.

:) Bring Back The Memories... Research Future Visits...
If you would like to look up dates you visited Tremblant, or you
want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.

When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.

There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.

( If you "Bookmark" the link above, it will always take you to the
First index page with the latest posts. That gives you an immediate,
current to 25 day past, review scroll of Winter Alpine Conditions by
consecutive date.
