Foul Weather Preserve And Protect Mode...

Technically, and practically, it’s still “Fall”,
so warm ’n wet thermal burps are totally
normal.

At least the messiest bit is short...

Here Is Why “Preserve And Protect” Mode:

Conditions Notes:

Skiing: Excellent Spring-like with variable rates of
softness directly proportional to pitch angle.
Pooling may occur in some low angle zones/runouts.

Atmospheric: Wet, Descente Poncho or other
waterproof foul weather gear required.

If the cloud ceiling is low to the Summit, it is distinctly
possible that some elevations could be more foggy than
rainy because rain tends to fall below the cloud, not so
much in the cloud. As a result, a bit of exploration to
determine if there are shifting drier zones may yield
less wet. Maybe.

--------------- 2:57 P.M Insert Update: --------------------

We are pleased to report that our theories
regarding somewhat dry Mountain elevations
are in at least partly correct. If it was active
rain, the web cam POV’s would be mostly
obscured by smeared water over the lens
globes. What you can see below is that at
this time in the afternoon that the web cams
are largely dry which we say corresponds
to similar dryness on the adjacent trails.
It was not likely like this all day, but the
Summit POV shows a very low cloud ceiling
which is always a benefit for less or no rain
at elevations.

Please Note: Your T360 author is not yet able to
be on site due to a post-surgical, medical LOA.
We expect to have that cleared by mid-December.
12.16.23-UPDATE: Due to LOA logistical support
issues, plus Xmas scheduling, return delayed.

Thanks for your patience. In the mean-time, we
intend to maintain the daily, chronologically filed,
weather and trail status data plus whatever
observational commentary possible for archival
date/seasonal/historical period sampling.

:) Bring Back The Memories... Research Future Visits...
If you would like to look up dates you visited Tremblant, or you
want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.

When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.

There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.

( If you "Bookmark" the link above, it will always take you to the
First index page with the latest posts. That gives you an immediate,
current to 25 day past, review scroll of Winter Alpine Conditions by
consecutive date.
