12/31/23 #Tremblant Conditions

48(*) Open Trails.

Weather Notes:

A bit of a “Bundle Up” notice for at least first tracks
as the peak velocity of the Northerly wind gusts will
seem “Brisk”, even cold, especially for those who have
been here for the last few days of warm. The wind may
moderate later on but the top of both La Crete and
P’tit Bonheur may continue to give runs in those
directions a cool start. Once below the summit, it
should be easy to find wind shelter on the lee-side
of descending trails.

At the time of this early posting it is not clear or
any form of sunny. It is every bit of foggy, and
at the Summit it is lightly snowing, so it remains
to be seen if/when the hourly forecast is going
to be accurate on the sunny part.

Conditions Notes:

This is exactly what we forecast, for exactly what we want
to see, an extensive grooming list, plus activated snowmaking
icons with a big commitment to developing terrain support.

Generally, we think you’ll find an immediate and very obvious
increase in both the scope of groomed terrain as well as a
far wider range of refined, soft, skiable top layers as today
is day-2 of the return to sub-zero C’s.

Please Note: Your T360 author is not yet able to
be on site due to a post-surgical, medical LOA.
We expect to have that cleared by mid-December.
12.16.23-UPDATE: Due to LOA logistical support
issues, plus Holiday season scheduling, return
delayed but working on A.S.A.P.

Thanks for your patience. In the mean-time, we
intend to maintain the daily, chronologically filed,
weather and trail status data plus whatever
observational commentary possible for archival
date/seasonal/historical period sampling.

:) Bring Back The Memories... Research Future Visits...
If you would like to look up dates you visited Tremblant, or you
want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.

When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.

There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.

( If you “Bookmark" the link above, it will always take you to the
First index page with the latest posts. That gives you an immediate,
current to 25 day past, review scroll of Winter Alpine Conditions by
consecutive date.
