What We Have To Work With...
Superb High Performance Snowfall Carving.

Photography a wee bit challenging,
Skiing a whole lot of excellent fun!
Regardless of the billions of airborne snow
filters making for the soft pic. resolution, the
concept of the excellent performance capability
of this current mix of groomed with the freshly
falling snow you can obviously see above, is
pin-sharp accurate.
Weather Notes:
Here Is The Basis For The Excellence You Will Find Today.

Conditions Notes:
Super-chilled fresh snowfall sometimes has a minor degree
of friction in the running characteristics and that is the state
of the current mix. It is just a touch, and only noticeable on
plateaus or trail runouts, where a bit of pole or skate action
might be needed to traverse any extended flat parts.
That is not a negative though because the ever-so-slight
gravitational offset makes steeper challenges less challenging
and easier to initiate all forms of directional and speed control.
The skiing is easy and fun and there is just enough new snow
that it functions as a very fine, very smooth cushion, without
becoming overly thick or prone to being heavily tracked.
Where freshly groomed this morning it will be superb.

We think there are possibilities the Open Trail list could
change on the up-side, maybe. The progressive opening
icons do suggest the eventual return to the numbers
available before the snowmaking tune-up phase of
recent days.

A couple of Above/Below POV’s from the Summit over Lac,
then from across Lac T to the Mountain. A wee bit of cloud
drama with interesting shadow effects.

Please Note: These are 180 degree POV’s From/To/Over the exact same views.

Bring Back The Memories... Research Future Visits...
If you would like to look up dates you visited Tremblant, or you
want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.
When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.
There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.
( If you “Bookmark" the link above, it will always take you to the
First index page with the latest posts. That gives you an immediate,
current to 25 day past, review scroll of Winter Alpine Conditions by
consecutive date.
