The End Is Near...
The Last Day Of The Official Season Is Now
Included The 14 Day Long Range Weather Forecast...
In the meantime, consistent with the concept that
March is finishing with an “Out Like A Lion” cooler
flair...

“If”... If the current Elevation Differential temp spread to a
cooler by -6 C held all day, that could mean that Versant
Nord/North Side open terrain might not see any “+”/Plus C
temp values all day.
We actually think that is unlikely, however there is
no doubt in our opinion that Nord/North open terrain
could be way firmer than Sud/South sectors all day.
Weather Notes:
Conditions Notes:
In The Groomed:
Immaculate default smooth, but solid, very firm with icy overtones
to begin with and evolving to a moderate softening on Sud/South
side trails by around/between 11:00 to 11:59 A.M.
The Nord/North may remain largely firm all day, however
we think there may be some select zones of excellent
winter-like front-side carving over shallow loose top
layers, especially where the warmth did not get into
things too deeply yesterday. If grooming was conducted
over any terrain that had been cold for the whole day,
consistency of long descent lines with good grip should
be possible, although sharp, fresh edges will be necessary
for optimized safety and performance.
In The Sous Bois/Hors Piste/Glades And Un-Groomed:
Restricted availability as per the Official listings below,
so quite a bit closed. If there’s hope for genuine Spring
bump skiing, it may be within Versant Soleil by sometime
around 1:30 P.M., through to last run.
